Eikaiwa in Japan can be said to be a little different from regular English classes in that many students want to have fun learning spoken English with the focus on speaking time rather than writing, reading and grammar which they received enough of at school. This textbook is aimed at those students.

Each lesson is two A4 pages. Each lesson is good for classes lasting 45-60 minutes.

Many textbooks are reading, writing or grammar heavy. This textbook is focused on speaking right from the start. Perfect for fun and enjoyable conversation classes in classrooms, cafes or student homes.

Each lesson has the same, natural flowing lesson style: Warm Up, Grammar Point, Pattern Practice, Listening Activity, Model Conversation Text, Roleplay or Conversation Topic to apply the lesson target point.

Lessons are aimed at Japanese students, so there are many topics that are easily accessible for them. For example: explaining Japanese foods, customs, festivals and so on while the teacher can introduce their country.

Written by an English teacher for Eikaiwa teachers in Japan. Perfect for private lessons and small groups.
